ARE YOU…
Imagine:
the same 6-8 people. Meeting weekly for 10 virtual sessions. Facilitated so that everyone has a chance to share and Be Heard.
Swap Coping Skills
Most of us have been taught mood disorder coping skills in one form or another. Theoretical descriptions can be confusing (what is a half smile anyway?) and sometimes impossible (who can recall CBT acronyms in the midst of a panic attack?)
The thing is, they really do work!
Share examples of techniques you’ve used, and listen to what others with similar experiences would have done. This practical application of coping skills transforms them into natural, helpful ways of being.
Enjoy Mutual Support
Perhaps the most painful aspect of living with a mood disorder is the loneliness. The group’s collective encouragement and empathy help you feel seen and heard.
Listening to others as they share in the Disordered Synergy Group helps you realize that you aren’t the only one.
Meeting with the same people enables you to learn each other’s stories and character, so that you’ll believe in one another as you grow the confidence to believe in yourself.
Build Meaningful Community
Repeated exchanges develop a sense of security, as you come to rely on the opportunity to collaborate. With only 6 to 8 people in each cohort, you will have plenty of time to share, learn, and collaborate.
Disordered Synergy groups are judgment-free because the other members (and the coach) know precisely what you are talking about.
As members listen respectfully to one another, their connection deepens, and they begin to build longer-term friendships.
Disordered Synergy groups are presented in blocks that run once a week for 10 weeks, usually with a one-week break in the middle. The entire block is prepaid, and you must commit to attending all sessions.
As friendships grow, you’ll be glad the discussion isn’t limited to our weekly sessions. Participants in each series will be invited to a private Facebook group that includes the coach. Communication within the group between sessions is unlimited.
are you ready to live with more peace and less struggle?
